On the royal stage of the Via de la Plata, I walked 42.7 km.
It was a flat stage, I think the flattest since I’ve been on the Via de la Plata. On the left and on the right the mountains started to grow. The path mostly passes between farms with cows and sheep.
I also passed the landmark of the Camino de Via de la Plata. The double gate and the Roman city. It was impressive to walk through the gate and gave me a lot of new energy to finish the Camino.
