Pilgrimage Day 10: Sevilla to Santiago de Compostela, Spain

The day’s stage was relatively short with 15.3 km. The route was mostly parallel to the national road and was therefore not particularly interesting.

We reached Mérida, the capital of the autonomous region of Extremadura. It is a very old city with some sights. It was founded by the Roman emperor Augustus.
