Hermitage “our Lady of the Incarnation” – Calzadilla de los Barros, Spain

On the outskirt of the town, there is a beautiful hermitage build in honor of the Patron of Calzadill de los Barros, Our Lady of the Incarnation (XVI century).

The scared building, preceded by a porch with a stone balustrade, is composed of four pointed arches supported by vaults with lunettes, revealing the different builders and periods between each part. A dome over semi-circular arches and a main chapel where the image of Our Lady of the Incarnation venerated. An image of unique beauty, an anonymous carving in polychrome walnut wood of the 16th century.
